Job description

We’re seeking a motivated, coachable, and goal-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate qualified leads and book appointments with business decision-makers. This is a critical front-line role in growing our customer base and helping employers provide essential healthcare solutions to their workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn touches to small- and mid-sized employers across targeted industries (e.g., hospitality, food service, staffing, gig, retail).

  • Educate HR leaders and business owners on the value of ON-HEALTH plans and secure introductory sales meetings for our Account Executives.

  • Manage lead activity using our CRM and follow up consistently to drive pipeline growth.

  • Research companies, identify key contacts, and develop outreach strategies.

  • Achieve and exceed weekly outreach and meeting-setting goals.

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to refine messaging and optimize conversion.

Job requirements

  • 1+ year of outbound sales, SDR, telemarketing, or customer-facing experience preferred.

  • Strong communication and persuasive skills; comfortable on the phone.

  • Motivated by metrics, growth, and the opportunity to make a difference.

  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote environment.

  • Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) is a plus.

  • Passion for helping people and a belief in expanding access to healthcare is a big plus.
